Shipping

We ship Internationally from our base in the UK.

Shipping fees quoted at the checkout are based upon the weight of the item(s) purchased, including the packaging said item(s) will be shipped in.

Please allow 1 day handling time for your order to be shipped. We ship Monday – Thursday.

Shipping on all orders includes tracking, and upon shipping your item, we will update PayPal with your tracking code, so that you can follow the progress of your purchase.

Return Policy

All sales are final. With specific regards to Luxe Lashes; for reasons of hygiene, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted. All items for sale on SophieShohet.com are quality checked before being dispatched, to ensure no damaged or faulty items are shipped.

Items of clothing, accessories or makeup will be marked as ‘new’ or ‘preloved’ accordingly. All preloved items will be photographed to show condition, though please bear in mind that these are ‘preloved’ items, so may have some signs of wear. In the unlikely instance of you receiving an item that you think may be damaged, please do email a photo to sophie@sophieshohet.com and add ‘Damage’ in the subject line.

Please note, for Luxe Lashes, discrepancies may occur, so if the lashes differ from one another in regards to hair assignment, they are handmade and this does not constitute damaged items.

Damages from shipping, will need to be reviewed and we cannot guarantee this will resort to replacement or refund.

Cruelty-Free & Sterilized

Our Luxe Lashes, including our lash packaging, are all handmade.

We use 100% natural mink hair that is cruelty-free and collected through the mink’s natural shedding process. The collected mink fibres are then sterilized to ensure they are completely safe for use.

Our lash band is a custom design and made using the finest and softest organic fibres, meaning that they are not only comfortable, but are better suited to the contour of the lash line.

Recommended Lash Glue

We don’t retail our own glue, as for many people, the glue they use is based on personal preference.

We do however recommend Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive, which comes in both black & transparent. We find this glue to be most non-irritating, as it doesn’t contain latex.

Caring for your lashes

Your Luxe Lashes are delicate, so always be gentle when handling them! ;-)

• It’s recommended that you handle your Luxe Lashes using tweezers, and never pull on the lashes themselves, instead, always hold/handle the lashes from the lash band.
• When removing your Luxe Lashes from the packaging, they will be stuck-down with a little adhesive at either end of the band. Gently free them using tweezers.
• When applying glue, hold the lashes with tweezers, and drop them onto your lash line from the tweezers.
• When removing lashes, be gentle, and try to remove the lash by pulling as close to the lash band as possible.
• After removing your Luxe Lashes, it’s important to remove any glue from the band. This will keep the lash sitting flush with your lid when you next wear them.
• Do not get your lashes wet, or soak them in water or any anti-bacterial agents. You Luxe Lashes are handmade using organic and natural materials, soaking them could make them fall apart, or most certainly, will make the individual lashes go off in all sorts of directions!
• No mascara! Always apply mascara to your own natural lashes, before applying your Luxe Lashes. Applying mascara to your Luxe Lashes will most certainly ruin them.
• Finally, the Luxe Lashes box is your friend! It has been designed to safely store your lashes – keeping them free from any dust, dirt or impurities. When you are not wearing your Luxe Lashes, be sure to put them to bed in their box :-)

How to apply lashes

Applying your lashes is simple:

1. Gently remove your Luxe Lashes from the box using tweezers.
2. Measure each Luxe Lash against your natural lash line, and use scissors to trim the Luxe Lash to the size required, always trim from the outer edge first. You want the length of the lash to fall just short of the natural length of your eyes. This will prevent the lash from poking the inner corner of your eye when you blink.
3. Once you have applied your make-up, including mascara (if you choose to wear this) – apply some glue along the band of each lash. Depending on the glue you are using, leave the glue for at least 30 seconds, for it to become tacky. Test it against your finger – the glue should stick, and not leave any wet glue residue.
4. When your glue is suitably tacky, place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible – applying it with tweezers (make sure your tweezers hold the lash in the middle section).
