REVIEW | Louboutin Spiked Leopard Coin Purse

Christian Louboutin footwear has always been a favorite of mine, and I appreciate and love the design & quality of his pieces (even though it tends to mean pain!)

When he launched his debut range of handbags and SLGs a little while ago, I wasn’t immediately rushing to buy…

Whilst I respect the brand when it comes to footwear, I felt that he needed to develop in the handbag space, before I was willing to spend the kind of money that could otherwise buy me a Louis Vuitton, Gucci or a small Chanel.

A couple of years on, and I’ve purchased my first Louboutin SLG! It’s this delightful coin purse / card holder, and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Features:

  • Glam leopard-print coin purse with edgy spikes
  • Zip-around closure
  • Goldtone hardware
  • Two inside card slots
  • Signature red lining
  • Includes dust bag and authenticity card
  • 3"W X 4"H X 1"D
  • Leather
  • Made in Italy

The quality is just excellent, the design is beautiful and I do smile whenever I peer into my bag and see this item.

Priced at just £185.00 when I purchased it in March 2016, I had noticed that Louboutin handbags & SLGs were now starting to pick-up on the pre-loved market. Holding their value a lot more, presumably as sales and faith have grown.

So what am I saying?

Well, I guess I’m saying that now might be the time to buy, buy, buy.

Prices of his handbags & SLGs are still comparatively low, when compared to similar items from the likes of Chanel, Fendi & Dior. And as popularity and sales grow, I can see prices (new and used) both rising.

So what do you think? Do you see Louboutin handbags as potentially being a good investment?

Hi Sophie!

I believe that now is the time to invest in Louboutin SLGs and handbags. Christian Louboutin took the world by storm with his shoes, he's an extremely innovative man and probably has one of the most unique brands out there. I think that the prices of his bags will rise in no time. Also, from what I've seen at least, the bags and SLGs seem very durable so selling used ones won't be that much of a problem. I might get the Trictrac small myself, it seems very useful for carrying files around.

Love your channel and hopefully my input was helpful xx

Thank you so much lovely! I too agree, I think Louboutin is a good brand to get into where SLGs & bags are concerned - before the prices go up! xxxx
